New Cushions from Camelot 3/29/2007 7:42:46 PM (0 comments) Login to Add a CommentThis year, we're tackling the cushions. The original cushions, while not only having a fabric style from the 70's, also had considerable mold stench.
After attempting to remove the interior foam and wash both the fabric and foam, the mold smell still lingered something fierce. The fabric itself was quite worn and definitely in need of replacement.
Afer some searching, we finally ended up employing Bruski Upholstering in Mount Prospect, Illinois.
They did an exceptional job with the new cushions, assisted in choosing a durable yet cost effective fabric, and overall we're extremely happy with the results.
We chose a new color, a bit lighter than the original to make the cabin appear a bit larger. I'll post some pictures soon of the new cushions.
