First Post and The Sailors Place Web Site from Viking Lady 12/4/2006 7:06:00 PM (0 comments) Login to Add a CommentI recently got my Boat Profile completed -- she is the Viking Lady -- her slip is at the Richmond Yacht Club which is in Pt. Richmond, a part of the main city of Richmond, California. Richmond is on the North East side of San Francisco Bay and the Richmond Yacht Club facility and slips are next to a marina called Brickyard Cove in Pt. Richmond.

I would like to invite anyone reading this to visit my web site -- http://www.The-Sailors-Place.com .

I have been working hard on it for the past month adding new pages and features. I like to take pictures and the pictures you find on the site are all taken by me. The site has Racing Dinghy screen savers and photos, some photos of a few big ships (freighters, tankers, Coast Guard, etc.), sailing book reviews, Free marine charts, and a Free chart plotter you can use with the charts on your computer. It has Navigation tips and information, special sailing knots with a link to a site that has animated slides on how to tie all kinds of knots, boat maintaince tips, sailing simulators information and links to DEMOs, and much more. If you have a high speed connection you can view a couple of videos and hear some MP3 sailing music. Dial Up connections do not work for that part of my site, I found out a couple of days ago.

Let me know what you think of my site and i would love to have any ideas on other things to put on the site.
